Sydney graduated from Wesleyan College in Georgia with a B.A. in Studio Art and Art History in 2016. She has exhibited her art at a variety of galleries in Georgia and California in both group and solo shows. Sydney has worked at Able ARTS Work for over four years, starting as an art instructor. She is now the Virtual Learning and Training Coordinator for Able ARTS Work, Learn for Life.

Sydney loves working with a variety of oil-based media: oil paints, oil pastels, polychromous color pencils, and printmaking. She enjoys media that allows her to be expressive and vibrant in her art. She is inspired by the colors and movement in the Impressionism and Expressionism movements. She also loves studying contemporary political and activist art from the 20th and 21st centuries. Most of Sydney’s art focuses on the connection that people have with nature and the that balance within the modern world.
